“GRAMA UDHAYAM” is a Charitable Trust duly recognized by Union Government and State Government. Its purpose is the progress of the poorest womenfolk and poverty-stricken ones. Its members are the poorest woman folk of the Society. Its purpose is to save the poor woman folk from money lenders and to help them to encourage habit of Savings and assist them for starting Micro and Small Scale Industries so that they will be uplifted. By this way a changed and reformed society will emanate, true to the proverb “Well-Fed Will Sleep Well with Peace of Mind”

Poor and needy women are not only benefitted during their life time and beyond their life too. In case of death of a member within the hour Rs. 5000 is disbursed, if the serving period is 2 years, in case of death a sum of Rs. 6,000 is disbursed; .

Grama Udhayam has been conducting Free Eye Camp in villages every month 10760 eye patients have undergone eye surgery and their eye sight has been restored. More than 1,00,236 people have undergone Eye Testing.
